A Moment of Enormous Gratitude

Yesterday I was shopping at my local Trader Joe's market when I was suddenly overcome by enormous gratitude. As I was walking down the aisle the abundance of food surrounding me hit me like a ton of bricks.

It hit me so deeply that I had to move over to the side to gain my composure as tears started to flow. Just the idea that there were so many choices and I could have any of those choices left me humbled by the good fortune of not just myself but everyone in the store with me.

When I continued shopping I found myself giving thanks for each item I put into my cart. I knew having these kinds of choices was not to be taken lightly and this awareness allowed me to really grasp the concept of wanting what I have in my life already instead of wanting what I don't have.

Take the time during your day to notice all the abundance that surrounds you. Really breathe in and feeeel deep in your soul all there is to be grateful for and how many amazing choices you really do have in your life with everyday experiences.
